With the increase in demand for healthcare services in Melbourne’s east, the hospital is receiving a much-needed redevelopment to enable it to continue to provide high quality healthcare services, both now and in the future. Baulderstone Pty Ltd (BPL) has been chosen as the managing contractor to build the new clinical services block and undertake some refurbishment of the existing hospital. BPL has an excellent track record in delivering Victorian health projects, including the Royal Women's, Austin and Mercy hospitals. BPL is one of Australia's largest building and engineering companies and is highly experienced in managing the special and sensitive needs of hospital construction close to an operating hospital.

Woodside is the major equity holder (46%) and Operator of the Browse LNG Development, which is an important part of Woodside's LNG production growth plans. Browse also represents substantial opportunities for economic and social development in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

The Browse LNG Development is currently entering the front end engineering and design phase (FEED). Woodside’s Board approved FEED entry in February 2011 and FEED contracts have been awarded for the major pieces of infrastructure required to build Browse.

The development has initiated a competitive dual FEED process for the onshore LNG plant and the offshore Tension Leg Platforms.

The Ichthys project will be the largest oil and gas development in the Northern Territory and it will attract other industries such as transport, health, and professional services to the area.

Gas from the Hides, Angore, and Juha fields together with gas from oil fields at Kutubu in the Southern Highlands of PNG will be conditioned and transported 700 km to a 6.6 MT/A Liquefied Natural Gas plant near Port Moresby for export to Asian clients. EPC contracts for the project have been let for Early Works – Upstream, Early Works – LNG Plant Site, the LNG Plant, Offshore Pipeline, the Gas Conditioning Plant, the Onshore Pipeline,  the Komo Airfield, and the LNG Export Jetty. ICN, in conjunction with the Australian Trade Commissioner in Port Moresby, has been working with some of the above EPCs and is working to contact the others in order to promote the use of Australian goods and services.
